BirchBark is committed to being an active partner in building a stronger, more compassionate community. That’s why we’re proud to join Monarch Services and other local organizations at the Stronger Together Walk-Run.

This inspiring annual event marks the beginning of Domestic Violence Awareness Month and brings people together in solidarity with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking across Santa Cruz County.

Now in its fifth year, the Stronger Together Walk-Run offers:

• 1k and 5k courses for all ages and abilities

• Children’s activities, music, and dance performances

• Food trucks, raffles, and team prizes

• Community resource table. Be sure to stop by BirchBark’s table to say hello and learn more about our programs for pet families in need!

• Free Marianne's ice cream for the first 100 kids!

Event Schedule:

• 8:00–9:00 am: Same-day registration & food trucks open

• 9:00 am: Welcome & stretch

• 9:30 am: 1k race begins, followed immediately by the 5k

• Activities, performances, and food trucks continue throughout the morning
