At the core of BirchBark's mission is an appreciation and respect for the love we share with our companion animals, and an understanding that a family's ability to give, receive, and deserve this love is unrelated to their personal wealth. For ten years, you, our BirchBark supporters, have shared your love, and in doing so have protected the vital bond between people and their furry (and feathered!) family.
If there is one thing we know it is that there is no shortage of love in this world. You have shown it in countless ways over the past ten years, and - as a result - our programs have expanded accordingly. Your love has mended broken bones, healed wounds, provided comfort to the bereaved, educated pet parents, and guaranteed a standard of care for pets of families experiencing homelessness.
As we look forward to the next ten years, we are eager to see where your love will take us and what, together, we can do to protect and honor the human-animal bond.
