2019 Santa Cruz County Human Race
BirchBark Foundation was very excited to participate in the 39th Annual Santa Cruz County Human Race!
BirchBark, along with 79 other non-profits, helped raised almost $227,000 at this year's Human Race. A part of these donations will go to BirchBark Foundation to assist with our mission of helping low income families through pet medical crises. Thanks to all who supported us this year!
9th Annual Days of Wine, Beer and Wet Noses
Thanks to all who came and visited our BirchBark Booth at the 9th Annual Days of Wine, Beer and Wet Noses. Although a little chilly for Spring, the BirchBark team had a great time and met many fellow pet lovers and very cute pets like Sandy and Callie!
Community Tuesday at shadowbrook restaurant
feb 12, 2019
Thank you everyone who took advantage of the great food, atmosphere and hospitality of Shadowbrook Restaurant on Tuesday, February 12th. This is such a special place and we are so grateful for Shadowbrook’s support to our cause. They donated 30% of every BirchBark diner’s bill to help pets and their families when a medical catastrophe strikes. We can’t wait to do this again next year!
Paint Your Pet, sponsored by the Painted Cork. February 3, 2019
Thank you to all our “artists” who attended this SOLD OUT event! And special thanks to Kimberly Godinho from The Painted Cork for guiding us through our masterpieces. Everyone enjoyed wine, great snacks and a lot of FUN. All funds raised from this event helped us to fund medical costs for pets whose families didn’t have the financial resources to save them without a little help. THANK YOU! We can’t wait to do this event again.
Our 2018 lecture series was a great success!
Dr. Merrianne Burtch, DVM, DACVIM, "Intestinal Health in Pets"
Dr. Teresa Arteaga, DVM DACVIM (Oncology), "Cancer in Pets"
Dr. Elizabeth Curto, DVM, DACVO, "Keeping Pets Eyes Healthy"
BirchBark's lectures series was created to fulfill our mission of educating families to be better advocates for their pets. They are a great way to help learn the early signs of pet disease and even speak briefly with a board certified specialist about any concerns you may have.
We look forward to announcing our 2019 Lecture Series in the upcoming months! Stay tuned.
