Kellie grew up in Monterey County, attending local schools in Castroville and Salinas.  While growing up, there was never a time her family didn’t have at least one family dog - along with hamsters, guinea pigs and numerous other family pets.

Kellie graduated from California State University Sacramento in 1983 and returned home to the Central Coast where she began a lifelong career with MBS Business Systems. At MBS, she started as a part-time receptionist and quickly moved into sales, then sales management, eventually becoming President and CEO in 2005.  Kellie and her company are passionate about supporting non-profit organizations throughout Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties.  Kellie lives along the Highway 68 corridor between Salinas and Monterey where she shares her home with four dogs and one cat. She spends her free time spoiling the goldens, exercising the border collie, hiking, cycling and traveling.
